Rockport Pool renovation design
A $3.9 million overhaul of the 1981-built pool is being designed, with borrowing of $1.9 million in each of 2027 and 2028. Survey results showed residents want new slides, shade, an accessible ramp, a zero-depth baby pool, and bathhouse upgrades; construction is planned for fall 2027 with reopening in 2028.
Project Cornerstone local history initiative
A new volunteer group, the History Sleuths, is teaming up with the Rock County Historical Society to bring local history to the public through tours, pop-up events, and hands-on classes — with Courthouse Hill house tours targeted for May 2027.
